Pay to Surf Business Card - Don't Leave Home Without It
My better half
laughs at me. He says I'm like Hansel and Gretel, leaving a trail
of breadcrumbs behind where ever I go.
He can laugh. it works.
The best tool I have for referrals is my business card. As you can
see in the template I have on my site, it's very simple. It's vague
enough not to give away all the details, so it draws upon a curiosity
factor. The decorative bordered business card paper that you can purchase
at any office supply store attracts attention.
And did I mention that it works?
I can't recommend enough getting these cards. You can always find
a free business card offer online at any time, plus printing up your
own cards does not cost very much money.
Once you have
your supply, try some of these ideas:
--Leave them with your tip at restaurants. Include it with your tip
to pizza delivery people. Of course you're a good tipper, aren't you?
--Drop them in
fishbowls at local merchants when they have giveaways. To make sure
my card gets attention, I attach the card to a fridge magnet. You
can buy these in office supply stores as well. Your magnet will stay
in use someplace long after the drawing is over.
--Leave them
on bulletin boards at grocery stores and Laundromats.
--Save up your
adstream checks and deposit a bunch at the same time with a card in
the envelope. Writing a little note on the card that all these checks
were earned with Free Money Online is an attention grabber.
--Drop one in
the envelope of every bill you pay. The person opening your bills
would be very interested in earning some extra money.
--Pin one up
at your cubicle at work. You'll get asked about it, believe me. Your
co-workers are paid just as poorly as you are.
--Pass it along
when you are asked to donate money. Many of my ItAdsUp referrals are
indirects due to a PTA signing up . (That one better start paying
downline surf time soon!)
--This one never
fails to get a laugh when I mention it. Know those coathooks on the
inside of doors in public restroom stalls? A card slides perfectly
underneath it. It holds the card in place to a rather captive audience
with nothing else to look at besides graffiti.
--Many highway
rest areas have computer terminals where people can check email. I
leave a card next to the keyboard there, plus load the browser up
to my page so the next person in the booth sees my site first.
--Ask one simple
question to every service person you come in contact with on a daily
basis, "Do you have internet access?" As I mentioned last month, I
hit everyone. Sales clerks, the dry cleaner, the florist. you name
it. If they say yes, just make one request, "Could you please visit
my website? I'm trying to get more hits on my counter." It's so
simple and I've never had someone say "no" to me. Not everyone will
visit, but they will take your card.
--Recruit your
kids! Kids love free stuff, and more programs are opening up that
will allow the 13 and up set. When you find a program that allows
kids to join, be sure to sign your child up and send her/him off with
cards of their own. My son has better downlines than I do in some
programs and he's never heard the terms of "adstream" or "network
marketing".
The above is a start but I know you can think up more uses for yourself.
That small amount you pay for shipping charges or blank cards will
pay off in future months.
